I started in television, learning the ins and outs of production from the ground up. Long days, tight turnarounds, and even tighter teams. It taught me how to lead, create, and keep my cool when everything goes sideways.
These days, I split my time between film sets and open roads. I founded AZ Offroad Girls to give women a space to chase adventure, find their confidence, and build real community. It's about more than trails. It's about empowerment.
My children’s book, Lights, Camera, Action: Jo Directs Her First Film, came from the same place. It's for the dreamers, the kids who want to tell stories, not just watch them.
Whether I'm directing, producing, or taking the Jeep out on a dirt road, my goal is always the same: to capture the kind of moments that make people feel something real.
